The Chilliwack River, located only one hour from Vancouver, flows through the dense forest of the North Cascade Mountains. The river has a gradient of 10 meters per kilometer creating numerous long and continuous class III rapids (class IV at high water) and is highlighted by the Tamahi rapids where the Canadian National Kayak Team trains. It is the perfect day trip adventure rafting and is considered the best rafting near Vancouver. You will travel down 18 kilometers of the river and run more than 12 amazing rapids. During your trip you will stop for a quick hike to some hidden waterfalls for a power snack before you enter the best rapids of the day.
